Dr. Jack Meredino is the Best Life’s diabetes and pre-diabetes expert. He is board-certified in both endocrinology and internal medicine, and currently runs a busy practice in Bethesda, MD. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the George Washington University in Washington D.C.

Dr. Jack’s credentials are impressive. He’s a sought-after lecturer and has appeared on both television and radio. He is the co-author of the New York Times best seller, The Best Life Guide to Managing Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes. Additionally, is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for thebestlife.com, and is Chief Medical Officer of the Best Life Corporation. He is an instructor in the Johns Hopkins Diabetes Education Program at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD, and does healthcare consulting for business and government.

Dr. Jack graduated magna cum laude with a degree in chemistry from Georgetown University and earned his M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine. While in college and early medical school, he even worked in the laboratory of Nobel Prize-winning scientist Dr. D. Carleton Gajdusek, studying prion disorders such as Mad Cow disease. He has authored scientific papers in premier medical and scientific journals, including The New England Journal of Medicine, Science, Nature and The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

In his leisure time, Dr. Jack enjoys painting and drawing. He exercises regularly—lest he answer to Bob—and is an avid tennis player.
